Enrique Extends Record For Most Latin Airplay No. 1s

Enrique Iglesias extends his record for the most No. 1s in the 26-year history of Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, as “Finally Found You,” featuring Sammy Adams, blasts 11-1 to become his 23rd topper on the tally. The song makes a 59% gain to 11 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS.

Iglesias widens his lead over Luis Miguel, who’s banked 16 Latin Airplay No. 1s. Gloria Estefan (15), Ricky Martin (11) and Wisin & Yandel (10) are the only other acts with double-digit No. 1 sums.

With no Spanish edit of the song available, “Finally” marks just Iglesias’ second Latin Airplay No. 1 offered only in an English version, following 2007’s”Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song)” (see below).

In addition to his historic mark on Latin Songs, Iglesias also holds the records for most No. 1s in the history of the Latin Pop Songs chart (17) and most leaders among male artists on Dance/Club Play Songs (10).
